Benefits of Swimming

Swimming is fun and also an all-around exercise, which means all the muscles in body are involved.

Swimming is a life skill that saves lives and has a vast number of physical and psychological benefits. The benefits of swimming include, weight loss, increasing energy levels, mood improvements, maintaining fitness during pregnancy, rehabilitation of muscles and joints, reducing risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and stroke.

This is a wonderful sport for all age groups and abilities. When swimming the body carries almost 90% less bodyweight .The low impact nature of swimming helps even those with injuries to enjoy this sport for rehabilitation or for their fitness.

An hour of swimming can burn between 400-500 calories and since the water has 12 times more resistance than air, it helps improve muscle strength and flexibility.

We have been teaching swimming lessons for over 20 years. All our teachers have swam in competitive level and are passionate about their job.
All our teachers are fully qualified ASA level 2 or STA certificate holders. They are first aid trained, with Enhanced DBS checks and members of STA.
We are very dedicated, punctual, consistent, committed and motivated in what we do and we expect all our clients to commit and be consistent to achieve their goals. We will help you set these goals and guide you on how to achieve them.
No two people are the same, so why should their swim learning experience be the same. We design and set goals for each individual and try to create a calm and friendly environment for our clients while enjoying the experience.
